Mobile Snowmobile Unit

The Sober Driver Committee promotes awareness and education on the issue of alcohol use related to drinking and driving. The Committee works in partnership with the Township of Michipicoten Police Department, Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Wawa Sno-Riders, O.S.A.I.D., and local business representatives.

As part of the Sober Snowmobiler program, Wawa Healthy Lifestyles FOCUS Program sponsored a mobile snowmobile unit. The unit consists of the sled with the Wawa Healthy Lifestyles logo, first aid equipment, a stretcher backboard, etc.
