The North Bay FOCUS is comprised of community members who are dedicated to the promotion of a healthy community.
Our programs are designed to assist people to develop the skills necessary to avoid poor life choices - such as substance
abuse - by fostering participation in positive activities
The primary strategy of the Focus is to involve the whole community in strategies aimed at the prevention of unhealthy
behaviour. It is hoped that our various interventions increase everyone's capacity to deal with immediate and future
crisis and that the reduction of drug and alcohol use, and its related problems, result in a stronger and healthier
community.
